or you are just a crap driver on the new track.....

Dave, Have you changed your lane marking or is just the video making it look fat?

fat? if you mean the track width, it's a full 200mm wide, compared to 4 lanes of Tomy track at 150mm.

And remember, the camera always adds 10 kilos

Are the TJets easier to drive on this track than say the usual connected tracks they normally race on, or is there no difference?

Just taking notes is all...

Re: Davey goes a'routin' ....
this track is ultra curvy, some of the corners are smaller than a std Tomy 6" curve... so it would be challenging even if it were Tomy track.

I find that a Tjet is quite touchy on the throttle with a 45 Ohm controller, and you must drive SMOOTHLY through all those twisty bits.

The main factor is having CLEAN TYRES, even more so on this surface. Rubber tyres (Tjets and Turbos) need cleaning often and give the feel of "going off" in an extended session. Silicone tyres just hook up and GO.. and Turbos wearing AJ's slip ons are good fun too.

Those heading this way for XLR8 on Saturday might be able to fit in a few laps here too

nah not really Richard, it's pretty much finished bar a couple of grass bits to be stuck on. Reed switches all hooked up, work flawlessly thanks Cam

Too busy turning laps on it to take pics hehe
